Trying to afford a way to add screens to our home as there were none here when we rented. We have replacement windows coming, but summer is here, and I needed something to keep the bugs out. This was easy to install, and I am happy to say we have zero bugs in our home, and you would never know we didn't have regular screens. This has been a blessing, and a money saver. Although they do tear easily as I have a cat that decided she wanted to go through the screen instead of using the door LOL. It has since been fixed. One box gave me enough for 4 windows. I would buy this product again.
Great product. Really surprised honestly how well it works. Adhesive on the tape is strong and the velcro holds screen tight. We worked slow and thoroughly, taking our time & it paid off. Cleaned the area the night before, allowing it to fully dry before installation. If you take your time you can get the screen to lock tightly into place and then cutoff excess material with a utility knife. Looks way better than expected as well, not tacky or like a halfway done job. Overall very impressed.
This literally took me 10 minutes to put up. I needed this for my small apartment bathroom window, to keep the flies and bugs from coming in. I have screens for all my other windows but couldn't find one small enough for this window so I decided to give this a try and It worked GREAT. It looks freaking amazing amazing, can't tell that is even there.
One of the best, cheapest products I’ve ever purchased. Only took 20 minutes to install over my previous windows screen. I needed something easy to cover the holes because I’m too lazy to buy a legit window screen replacement and I was tired of taping over the holes. If you need an easy screen to install, get this!! I recommend laying down the Velcro tape first, then place the screen over the Velcro, use the black comb that comes with the kit to secure it on.. AND then trim it. You can always leave extra wiggle room and just tuck the extra screen on the Velcro. Better the precutting it and realizing you cut too much. I still have enough to make another screen if needed. Love it!!
We have really old crank windows, and you have to clip the framed screens in. Well, there was a window in my house that I wanted to be able to open (because it is located in some primo shade, so a cool breeze), but we didn't have a screen. It was an odd measurement, and I wasn't about to have a custom screen made. Because eventually we will replace the windows. So then I saw this, and I was like, eh, for the price, why not... I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS INGENUITY!!! The velcro strip is super easy to apply around the window, but the little tool for securing the screen to the window is where it's at!!! I went back over the ragged edges a few times to get all the little pieces neatly secured on the velcro and the installation looks so clean, like I actually measured or something!!
This is a cheap little screen and if you're looking to keep bugs out but don't want to pay for a real screen, this is perfect. It's just a screen that you cut to size and hand with velcro. The material is very thin but it works. I'm on my second Spring/Summer using it. I did take it down in the winter.
I have a small greenhouse and the bumblebees and mosquitoes are constantly getting stuck inside. This soft, flowing screen is perfect for keeping them out. I just affixed it to the top of the opening with double sided tape and clip the sides. I can’t see using this for a window, it’s too soft. It’s mosquito netting.
This product was easy to use, easy to install and works as claims. It is not actual screening but a very fine nylon mesh. No problems at all.
Gets the job done! not super easy to get right and put up (being OCD) but it is very intuitive to put together and works like a charm. I get to open my window while working to get sunlight and fresh air, without being eaten by mosquitos + I love the fact that I did not have to damage or ruin anything in the apt since y rent.
