Having a point on a masonry bit is helpful. Instead of having the old-style rounded head wander here and there as you work to get your hole started, these tend to stay literally on point.
I've never had a set of drill bits like this. I'm used to masonry bits that have an enlarged head. These are sculpted arrowhead style. I've tried them so far on cement stucco walls and cinderblock bricks, and they cut right into the hard material, while remaining sharp and pointed.
Great drill bits. Cut through the tile quickly and cleanly.
Very good job drilling rock. I was using water to cool off the bit and it was doing a good job, I was able to use the same bit on other jobs and therefore I believe it is durable because drilling rocks can take one bit per job. The bits are coated with special paint to prevent rust.

I bought these to be able to drill holes on the bottom of all my pretty little pot plants (ceramic, terra-cotta, etc. I’ve used all of the bits and they work amazing.
Must have for plant enthusiasts! So many pots and planters are missing a drainage hole at the bottom! These worked exactly as expected. Drilled a perfect hole and stayed sharp. The the base of the bit that the drill clamps on to lost some of it’s coating after multiple pots, but this did not effect the functionality at all. Would purchase again!!!
I've used many glass/tiles bits and these are by far the best I've ever used. Typically I'm able to get 2 or 3 holes per drill bit before it gets too worn down and could damage or crack the tile. I did 9 holes with one of these drill bits and didn't have a problem doing more if the job needed it.

Tried several drill bits, barely a dent in the material over the fireplace, no idea what it is, hard a a rock! This bit went thru, took about 20 seconds, but worked great.
Worked great for the job I bought it for: drilling drainage holes in glazed ceramic pots. I used my cordless drill and it cut right through the glaze without seeming to lose sharpness after 10 or twelve holes. Recommended.
I wanted drill bits so I could make drainage holes in some of my pots. The bits worked perfectly!
I was skeptical of these due to the price, but I had used several $20 bits trying to drill into my brick and burned them up. I figured for the price, give them a shot... well, they worked better than some very well known brands and cut through my brick like butter. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I just felt like I needed to give kudos to this product.
They worked great to drill through the bottom of two thick glass bottles. If they bent, broke, or went dull on you, you need to slow down and add a lubricant of some kind. I used a little clipper oil, but anything to reduce friction will work. It also helps for larger holes to use the smaller bits to drill pilot holes so you're not putting so much wear and tear on one bit. Take breaks for them to cool off they're getting hot.
These drill bits are designed for use with materials where high pressure is inadvisable. I have used them successfully on ceramic, terracotta, and glass. The more traditionally masonry bits with their shallow angle cutting tip require pressure to work, in fact a hammer drill is advisable. These are more pointed and work with a minimum of pressure. Cooling with water is highly advisable.
The short review is buy these! I wished to fit a Ring video doorbell. Knowing how bad included drill bits are normally, I used one of mine. The photo showing a bent bit shows what happened to that one trying to drill one hole in my brick. I then used the bit included with the doorbell. That one was virtually useless. It took nearly one hour to drill 1.5 holes using 2 drill bits. I then bought this set of bits. I used one and it went through the brick like a hot knife through butter. The other thing I liked with these bits is that they have a shank shaped to minimise the bit rotating in the chuck. Enough said!

Drilled through brick, mortar, and ceramic pots for drain holes. Used just about every bit numerous times and none of the failed. They still cut like new.
these masonry drill bits are well made, durable, and work great! I was able to use them to hang shutters on our rock exterior home.
The size variety on these really came in handy. Used these to make a few birthday presents drilling through metal and they worked great!
I recently purchased some security cameras for my house and during the installation processed, discovered my standard drill bits could not do the job on the stucco exterior. I needed a 15/64 in bit and couldn't find an affordable option at the local hardware store. As I only needed to drill a few holes, I took a chance and bought these bits. They were cheap so low risk of they didn't work. Well, the 6 mm bit I used worked really well! It took less than 10 seconds to drill 1 hole. I tried to drill with my standard bits and barely made a dent after a few minutes. After drilling 4 holes there seems to be some wear on the bit. It makes me think these will not last too long, but I'm happy since I don't need to drill through stucco on a regular basis. So, great value option for a DIY'er for minimal work. If I were a contractor I'd probably look elsewhere.
I bought 4 brand name tile drill bits from Home Depot for use at home and they all failed badly. I was literally scared of working with tile until bought this one. These bits drill into ceramic tile like into tofu :). I feels pretty confident now while working on tile. It was just amazing to see these bits drill into ceramic tile in no time.
I've been looking for a drill bit for years that was a true concrete drill bit. Well, I found it. This was delivered 5 minutes ago, I put it in my drill, went outside, and it went through my concrete like it was butter. Now that's what I'm talking about. Prior to this, my other brand new concrete drill bits from Lowes took me 2 hours to drill 1 hole. These bits did it in a fraction of a second. Am I buying more, hell yeah.
I used these drill bits on my mom's bathroom tile to install and hand bar and they worked beautifully! Just make sure you don't apply too much pressure (or speed) on the drill, otherwise you'll end up cracking the tile. I watched a few videos where they warn about this potential problem. You just have to be patience, I guess that's the trick with these things. It took me a good 45 seconds to drill a 1/2" deep hole on the tile, so I didn't think it was not too bad at all. The hole itself ended up being clear and very round; all ready for the next step on the project.
My wife forced me to drill holes in her flower pots . Around 9 or so. I had some cheap bits that I used. They couldn't drill through butter. These came in the mail today and I was able to drill those god forsaken flower pots that she puts pointy cactus in. OMG I love to move those into the garage in the summer time. I usually end up in the emergency room needing a blood transfusion I get stuck so bad bye their spiky little thorns. . Great !!!!!! Product!!!!
