Universal Instant Fix Replacement Zipper Repair Kit

I'm pretty excited about this product and looking forward to our first camping trip in 2 years now that our zippers work again.

Before I talk about how great this item is, I will point out the fact that I originally ordered a size small and was on the verge of tears from frustration of trying to get it to work. The zipper would latch, but pop out on both sizes when I pulled it up. If you are on the same boat, just try to go up a size. That being said, this device works tremendously. I have never sewed in my life, so buying a full zipper to replace it myself wasn't an option, nor was spending over $50 for a professional to do so. My specific fix was tedious in the sense that it is on a backpack (open end zipper) AND it was an invisible nylon zipper, so I had to watch maybe 5 different YouTube videos to get an idea on how exactly I should use this. Those videos absolutely helped, along with the actual instructions provided. Just in case there is someone with my exact same situation, I had to squeeze the Pull n Zip with my index finger and thumb while pulling up about an inch, then tighten the wheel, then pull the rest of the way. Exactly how it specified! I'm extremely grateful for this product because I love this backpack but it broke within a few months, so it's been broken for over four years and now I can FINALLY use it again! I absolutely recommend this item and I will purchase it again if I ever have to replace another zipper. If you think this item doesn't work, just keep watching videos and have patience - you'll get it! Hope this helps you make a decision. God bless!

The zipper on one of my favorite coats unfortunately was experiencing teeth separation. I looked online for remedies. One of the options was to have it replaced professionally, but I'm notwilling to spend over $60 for a zipper. So I decided to try the wrench method that tightens the zipper slide that I found on youtube. This didn't work but the next suggested video was for the FixnZip. It looked like it worked fairly easily and so far this zipper slider is working and is doing a wonderful job. Installing it was super easy. You unscrew/loosen it and pop it on the side with the teeth locker. I tried separating the teeth and they held firm so I'm incredibly relieved that I don't have to replace the entire section of the teeth strip.

I used the FixnZip to repair a pair of hunting pants. It took only a few minutes to read the instructions (what a concept!) and install the FixnZip on the pants. Good as new! Best part... no need to take it to a tailor for repair or ask my wife to fix it...I did it myself!!

I received a beautiful purse the first of May as a gift. While on vacation I lost the zipper pull off of it. I thought it was impossible to fix. I saw a video on how to replace it, I ordered this product, received it about a half an hour ago and it's already fixed! I can't believe how easy it was to do! I have a Carhartt jacket that has been hanging in my closet for a few years and I can't wait to have the time to fix it! I just didn't think replacing zipper pulls were so easy!

I bought this to fix a zipper on my golf bag. Went with the recommendation and bought a medium. All I can say is it took me longer to watch the video on YouTube than it took to fix the zipper. I am not lying when I say it took less than a minute. The teeth on the golf bag are plastic and this works like a charm. I thought I was going to have to take my bag to a luggage repair shop, This saved me a lot of time, hassle and money. Superfast shipping too. I ordered it on a Tuesday evening and it was delivered on Wednesday afternoon. I have a few more zipper to fix and will be buying more of these.

The zipper on my beekeeper suit would split open easily. I tried to fix it and the original zipper pull just fell apart in my hand. Panicked? Yes! Not a good thing to be wide open while tending bees. Lamented about the cost to replace the full length zipper. Ugh! Not cheap. While googling, I discovered this product. AMAZING! Arrived quickly and was super easy to install. I ordered the wrong size at first because the old zipper didn't have a number on it so I measured it too big. (Only needed to measure the teeth from side to side.) The return process was simple and quick. Within a few days I was tending my bees with confidence and have had no need to worry. This zipper replacement was installed in a matter of seconds and will outlast my suit. Highly recommend!!

I was so sad thinking I would have to throw out my favorite jacket! Instead this zipper worked perfectly! Or so I hope for now. I was able to put it on and immediately the zipper channel stayed closed! No opening up at the bottom and having to fish my way outta my jacket. Hoping it holds up but I am very pleased and I would for sure recommend this product!

Saved me $100. I purchased a rattan outdoor chair set from Salvation Army. I washed the cushion covers, and when I went to pull the zipper for the seat cushion, it busted. After researching online for how I could fix it, I found this product. It arrived, and after following the instructions I was able to replace the broken 3F zipper pull and rezip the cushion. I suggest watching the youtube video as there are small little tricks to increase your level of success. I do not plan on unzipping this frequently as it is a cushion cover zipper, but if it breaks I will update my review. For what its worth, it saved me needing to pay for a custom cushion cover and or buying a sewing machine to fix the zipper.

I have a super amazing puppy that decided to eat the zipper on our couch and cannot find a place that will match the cushion and replace it. We don't want to buy a new couch, we are moving in a month. I called the manufacturer, no luck. Called a couple of tailors and that would have worked well, but been way more costly. This was a little temperamental to install but once it clicked, it worked so, so well! I am not sure how long it will hold up but again, we only needed it for a month. If it were on a hoodie or something like that, I am sure it would be fine for quite a while, I just have it on a cushion that will be used a lot more. I will definitely remember this product when the need arises in the future!

The zipper on the front flap of our tent broke. The cheap pot metal just decided to break in half one day rendering the flap useless. Rather than scrap the tent, tried FixnZip. 5-star for the installation, although I'll admit getting the two pieces of zipper track to line up was a challenge. That's not a fault of the FixnZip, but of the tent design. But once mounted it easily tracks up/dwn. I only gave 3-star for Sturdy'ness though because of the design, it periodically slips off track. Not a big deal, can basically reinstall it to line it up again. Just a little annoying that have to do that in teh first place. But only happens like less than 10% of the time zipper is in use.

The product reviews were all over the board. I took a chance and if it perfectly. My zipper is a medium size zipper I wouldn’t say it’s too small or too large. So I got the medium and it fit wonderfully. Installed in less than a minute and I followed the instructions. It didn’t seem to be working at first but I moved it all the way back to the beginning of the zipper and moved it forward and backwards to the beginning of the zipper again and then forwards. And then it finally worked about the third time. The instructions warned that you might have to do this. Mine came with a little tiny zipper pole also, instead of just a key ring. I mean it also came with the key ring, don’t get me wrong

This actually works! I had serious doubts. In fact, I even tried to install it two times without any success. I was sure it was a gimmick. See, I recently went on a trip and the airport broke a zipper off the side of my luggage. Now, luggage isn’t cheap and I happened to really like this piece. It did have a warranty but it only covered manufacturer defects. And I really didn’t want to bother with forms from the airport for a broken-off zipper. I went on YouTube and watched the video about how to install the zipper. I’d been trying to start it at the wrong end. Once I started it properly it worked perfectly. I’m so very thrilled. You’d never know the zipper wasn’t the original. It’s high quality parts and I trust that it will keep working.

Easy to install once I figured the right way to face it. I used this on a guitar gig bag with a closed-end zipper all the way around it. The original slider broke in half. It didn’t have a size indicator on it so I measured the teeth at 5.65mm across and ordered the medium. At first I was having trouble getting it to work (teeth would not mesh) but after looking at the online instructions I realized I had it turned the wrong way (screw on the inside) because the zipper makes a u-turn after the first couple of inches and what I thought was outside was actually the inside. Flipped the new slider around and now it works like a champ! They should include some steps on how to properly install the new pull string and clip but it wasn’t that hard to figure out. Note this did not require any tools or cutting of threads or sewing. My zipper had the retaining box covered with a sewn on cover on both sides but the new zipper part works without having to install it next to the box as described in the instructions.

This thing can save a lot of clothes and in these days, with things getting more expensive and things getting scarce, it’s important to be able to repair and reuse what you can.

Excellent replacement for broken zipper box (the place on the zipper slide side where the pin at the bottom of the zipper on the other side fits into). I was told that the whole zipper would have to be replaced because the zipper box broke off during a wash cycle. Fortunately I found FixnZip. Placing the FixnZip above the zipper slide resulted in fixing my winter jacket into having a double zipper which did not require the zipper box. I had problems at first because I hadn't tightened the FixnZip enough. I looked at the manufacturers website and followed their instructions, and everything is working great. I highly recommend this when you have a broken/missing zipper box, it sure beats replacing the whole zipper!

I bought the large first to fix my tent and it was to big. I ordered the medium and it worked perfect. I didn't want to throw my tent away but didn't want to spend a lot to repair. This was a very cost effective repair and works great. Easy to install and honestly is way more durable than the cheap zippers that were on the tent. If they sold these in bulk at a cheaper price I would buy and replace all the zippers. very durable and well made. Will buy for all zipper repairs moving forward.

I am not going to lie, I was hesitant that this would work, as many other products like this one had terrible reviews. But this one was one that was reccomended by a fellow cosplayer. My zipper on my brand new boots broke and unzipped all the way down. This little magic zipper fixer worked perfectly. I screwed it on easily and it did exactly as the instructions said it would! Amazed. Definitely buying this again if I ever have another zipper emergency!

This product is great! Absolutely worth the money. I have a faux leather chair with a zipper on the back holding the foam in. I decided one day to open up the back to let the foam breathe a bit and then the zipper broke! Good chair but cheap zipper. If I had to take it to be repaired I’m sure it would not have been possible since the zipper track is closed on both ends and removing the zipper might have damaged the leather making it not possible to reattach a new zipper track (the leather didn’t have much room to give). Even if it could have been repaired I’m sure it would cost some decent moolah. This replacement zipper was a bit of a pain to get working because of how tough the leather was and the zipper was for size 4 (got the small zipnfix), but I was able to get it on and working eventually. There is a tiny bulge since the zipnfix is a little bigger than a normal zipper but the zipper is on the back of the chair facing a wall so I never have to see it. Totally recommend as a replacement especially if you have a zipper track closed on both sides.

Fantastic! I used mine to fix a zipper pull on a rifle tactical bag. The old zipper made of cast nickel just pulled off breaking in half. After ordering another product for about half of what this cost, I broke all 3 installing them. I then ordered this one which has a screw to it that allows you to just spread the 2 halves, screw it down and install your choice of a key ring pull, the cord pull with plastic end or both. Keep in mind, the large thumb screw is pretty good sized and there is no option to hide it inside as the backs of zipper teeth are flat, front are rounded which match this. Overall I am very happy since it completely fixed the problem in less than 3 minutes.
