Took the headlamps on a girls weekend to the lava tubes in flagstaff Az right after buying them. They were comfortable, and the multiple brightness settings and the tilt option were perfect for climbing around in complete darkness. Great buy!
Bought these for my kids for camping 3&5yo and they are AMAZING. Super bright and several different light (flashing, red and brightness) levels with adjustable tilting up and down . The kids have already figured it out. I was so impressed (and we are strictly PETZL people- avid hikers, night trail runners etc) that I purchased a second set for us adults. Plan on buying one or two more sets just to have as backup in house and in the car etc. Can't have too many headlamps that's for sure. Even with my kids abusing the headlamps I have yet to have to change the battery and they are still super bright. Would be amazing stocking stuffers or gifts and no one would know you didn't spend a fortune! Tip- If you have kids that will fight over them: I had my daughter use a pink sharpie to color in the white logo on the head band and my son use a blue sharpie. Boom....no more fights they can tell whose is whose!
I bought these so my wife and I could each use one for our evening walks with the dog. You can see it's very bright and provides more than enough light for us to see and for us to be seen. You can also tilt them downwards so that we don't shine in neighbors windows. They're great!
My 3 year old always asks to play with my headlamp so I figured id buy him his own. I didn't expect much out of these for the price, but I was blown away when I put batteries in. These lights are incredibly bright and lightweight. The light offers low, medium, high and strobe for the white LED and turns on with low mode first which I really like. The red LEDs offer "on", SOS, and strobe. Build quality seems solid. The band is comfortable and I was able to adjust it small enough for my son as well as myself. The red LEDs are a great extra feature and are very bright as well. I haven't been able to test battery life yet, but I'm sure it's decent. Will definitely look for more lights from this company.
I use a small single-strap head lamp very frequently for my craft work as it requires that I see very small pieces and details with as much clarity as I can possibly get, so there are 3 things I must have in a headlamp: It must be comfortable to wear straight on my head without a hat underneath, it must be lightweight as I'm frequently bending my head over and looking down at my work, and it must be as bright as possible.
If I lost or damaged both of these somehow - I would immediately buy them again without even needing to look at any others. For light-duty, these are really good and I would definitely recommend them.
I've owned several headlamps in the past and for the most part, they are in this same price range and have the same functions. Where the difference will come in is well, over time. So far, all of the headlamps have suffered the same fate which is a loss of elasticity in the head band itself. Once you begin to have a loose fit, you end up tossing the thing away. This lamp is sturdy and well balanced.
This light is nice and bright and fits well without falling off yes. If you are using this for riding and there is even a red signal light on the back and a button to turn that on and off. There is also a charge indicator in the back. You cannot adjust focus on this though
My husband is very pleased with his two new Cobiz Headlamp Flashlight USB Rechargeables. He got 2 of these for work on the night shift repairing buses and for working on our home. He has had many headlamps over the years that have eventually worn out. It was again time to replace his last one. He was a little apprehensive that this headlamp would be too heavy on his forehead, but it is perfectly light weight, and the light is excellent. Overall it is comfortable. It has one slightly rough spot that he intends to easily file down, but otherwise he wouldn't change a thing.
I wear a head lamp everyday for work and just habit, I wear a hat so it’s not uncomfortable, I’m used to it. I have owned several brands of head lamps. I think this is the third time I’ve bought this head lamp because it’s practical. It is dependable, bright and overall decent quality.
This product was a very pleasant surprise on arrival; it's value, comfort, flexible lighting patterns and overall quality, are excellent. I found one very minor issue with the lights: The usb port cover is flimsy the way it attaches to the light frame. It could be more secure in the way it attaches. it popped out and was difficult to reset in place. However, other than that, the lights are excellent. There is a caveat: I inadvertently pressed the on button out of the box and it was in my face. The light was blinding bright. I learned my lesson fast. The instructions made that danger clear but not before I hit the button. That won't happen a second time! I have two young grandchildren and thought I would get them each one(comes in a pair actually) for night reading but decided the light is dangerous if they shined it in their eyes; my adult children are definitely getting these. AS to function; working handsfree and having that bright light is terrific and recommended. And last, the fact that they are rechargeable is very cost effective.
Outstanding! Really brighter than some flashlights which amazed me. Walking the pup say night, these tilt to hot the path in front of me perfectly. A swipe of my hand, the light goes out, another of over the unit, light pops back on, every time. For distance, I adjust these to be flat against my hood, and they cut through the dark to amaze. I don't carry a flashlight at all.
After using so many different brands of Headlamps with so-so results, I recently purchased this 2-pack Headlamp with USB rechargeable connector. This device is a gem, and most affordable. Extremely bright LED lights, both white and red. The motion sensor works just as advertised. And the headband seems to be well made so that it won't stretch and become useless over time, as many other headlamp bands do. It is lightweight and I barely know it is on my head. Highly recommended.
To be honest I didn't really have high expectations for this light, in size comparison to my triple A battery operated headlamp is thinner, weight is also lighter. However, when I went to turn on the headlamp, I was impressed by how much light it put out. I quickly grabbed my old light and put turned it on to compare the two, WOW! so much light was being put out by the headlamp. I charged it completely before putting it to use, and I like how there are LED display lights to show how much charge is left on the battery, that is super convenient. The second headlamp will be going to my dad as a Christmas present and I'm sure he will love it as much as I do.
I bought this for my husband who works nights delivering fuel to stations. He has been through many flashlights and headlamps over the years but says this one is by far his favorite! It’s so much brighter than the brands he buys in stores and the added features are a fantastic bonus! Lightweight and comfortable, motion detector, battery status lights, brightness settings with a red light as well, usb charger and the best part is you get 2!! Great buy! Highly recommended.
I just received this headlamp but on first illumination it appears to be very bright. One of the main reason I purchased this unit is for what appeared to be its lightweight. I use these for working in attics so brightness has not been my greatest issue as all lights in these spaces are adequate. I have found other headlamps above 600 lumens to be very bulky and weighty after several hours of use. Traditionally, I have used units that require the 18650 batteries for longer use times. I will be curious to see how this unit holds up in that way. The advantage for this unit so far is its small form factor and light weight. If the battery holds up to a 3 - 4 hour usage I will be very happy with it.
I live aboard a sailboat in the PNW, so I use these for many tasks. (It stays dark in the winter up here.) Love the multiple modes of lighting. Learned early on that the spotlight modes 1&2, while providing a very bright narrow field, will drain the battery faster. Good news is that broader focus LED mode #3 is great for most dark enclosure tasks. The less powerful mode #4 is good for general orientation in a dark place. I use the red steady mode for general night work on deck, and the flashing red not at all. The motion detector mode (for while only) is handy fir some applications, but a mite too sensitive. If I use it to crawl out of a locker in the dark, for example, passing the face of the locker will turn off the light. Great to have two: keep both charged, sonic a task goes too long, you can swap and charge the battery on the first one.
I like the recharging capability as it seems I go through lots of batteries. I like the various light options for brightness levels and love the “off” by just holding button 3 seconds. Band is easily adjustable and comfortable. Overall, great headlamps and does what I need it to. Will update more when I get a better feelings about battery life, so far lasted many hours on a single charge.
Might have been the edibles, but I THINK this headlamp has different colors, depending on what kind of brownies were in the bag. My gf and I are Jeepers and go on lots of hikes and overnight campouts, because she's freakin' HAWT. So when she shows up wearing a sporty headlight setup, I run my fingers through Amazon and ordered these. Next trip, my new insane bright headlight system is signaling Arcturian starships in orbit around Jupiter; people walking through the beam get free Lasik surgery; I've shot down bats with them: these things are *bright*. Because they are USB rechargeable, the fun never ends, unless you are in Texas, where there is no power.
I have several higher end flashlights (streamlight, surefire, etc) but just wanted something I could use when walking the dog and ordered these while I was on vacation and they were quickly available. The quality is very good and they work perfectly. They are very bright and easy to operate.
