My favorite aspect of the cam is you can set it to “cruise mode” It will cruise either vertical , horizontal or your preset positions for hours It’s very quiet A tad but tricky to set up but if you pay attention to the directions you’ll figure it out

This is an awesome camera for the price. Having the ability to tilt and zoom is usually only found on higher priced units. The picture is very clear and the unit is very easy to install. The camera is a bit heavy and would be a little tricky hanging overhead, but that is because it is so ruggedly made. The casing is very sturdy metal and will hold up well to the elements. I use this camera to monitor 9 inch tall owls that live on my front lawn and the ability to watch them day and night is so cool. In addition, I can incidentally monitor my across the street neighbor's front door, both with great clarity. (They appreciate this feature of the camera too).
I’ve been using Foscam for several years in my business and home. They are always dependable and easy to set up and use. This is my first purchase for this model. Much bigger than the ones I have inside. We have them set up outside and they have withstood 40 plus winds and heavy rain. The only thing I did have to figure out was after I mounted them they were looking at the ground even when I tilted them all the way up. Finally remembered they have Optical Zoom!! I seriously thought I was going to have to mount them 20 feet high to be able to see any distance. That’s the only thing I’d keep in mind is they do have Optical Zoom. These are only to be mounted as high as you can go especially if you want to see any distance.
We purchased this camera to replace an older fixed outdoor camera to help monitor our pool and keep fence hoppers out of our backyard and have been blown away by how much of an upgrade it was.

I currently use the SD card, but in the future, I will need more space and I will purchase the Cloud Box. I have not had any problems and I would recommend this camera.
I have been using this product at a business location in Central America and for the most part it works well for viewing while travelling. I would say it does it's job and the video quality is very clear.
Now I can keep track of the managed feral cats and assorted wildlife in my yard and at the stable.

The optical zoom is a real nice feature. Make sure to install this camera as high as you can as you are limited on how far the camera will tilt up. Also, check the antenna from time to time to make sure that it is not loosening up.
All in all the camera has great features making it a very versatile camera at a great value.

We absolutely love this camera. The quality of the picture is amazing and we absolutely love the pan tilt zoom feature. We use the cloud service as well as the SD card for added protection but is not needed. Highly recommend this camera.
This camera has a terrific picture quality with the ability to zoom and wide angle. Also a guard feature to scan the complete area. When in IR / darkness, the picture quality is also great. I have no connectivity issues with this model in wireless.
