Waterproof Flexible LED Strip Light Bluetooth RGB Lights

Overall, I am happy with the purchase. (I now have purchased two.)

I came across this product on a tech blog and I was surprised at just how big a difference it made in our viewing comfort. Immediately ordered another for downstairs media room. The remote switch is a must. Don’t be cheap. Put it in your cart. Customer service is excellent. I over-enthusiastically creased a corner and tore the strip 10 lights in which rendered the remainder of the long roll useless. After inquiring with customer service for a fix *shout out to Rachel!* PP promptly sent a replacement at no extra charge and no ‘now how did you manage that’ shames. A word of caution on installation: although the strip has a substantial feel, you can tear it if you overwork or repeatedly remove and reapply in order to appease your FIL’s project oversight post Thanksgiving meal.

I would say this is a very unnecessary item to have. It's cool, you'll probably like it, but you don't really need it.

The remote works great and was easy to pair with the dongle to control the lighting. I use it almost daily to change the color, though I mostly use the white, light yellow, and the various shades of blue. The overall feel and look of the product matches the more premium price.

I have never been bothered by watching movies in the dark, but now that I have Luminoodle's back-lighting I would definitely buy it again. It adds to the overall atmosphere of whatever content you're watching and grabs your attention when you enter the room.

I purchased the xtra large size for my new 65 inch oled tv. It fit perfectly with about an inch overlap. I placed it about 4 inches in from the sides and top, and about 6 inches from the bottom (to clear the inputs). I found it useful to carefully unroll the tape and drape it around the tv (second person helped) in order to see what size perimeter would give me ideal coverage. (once you stick this down...you cannot move it, so plan ahead) All in all, a great product. Far more eloqunt than an old fluorescent tube bias light it replaced.

I wanted a means of lighting the area behind my TV and contemplated going with a Philips Hue but opted for this since it works by USB in the television. I had three open ports and now have this plugged into one of them. This is much more cost effective than adding a Hue bridge. I'd be fantastic if they created an app and allowed the lights to be controlled via the app instead of the remote but still this is a great choice and I've no regrets. Directions are easy to follow, product works as I had hoped and emits the perfect amount of light behind my 55 Samsung. I went with the XL Professional and have just a little bit of the strip left on the spool. Plan your route as the directions say and cut the excess at the Power P logo. Simple.

I'm using this with a Samsung NU7100 50" TV that has a USB 5V/1A port. When I turn on the TV, that light turns on and when I turn off the TV, the light goes off after about 1 minute while the TV powers down. I initially did a test with blue painters tape and ran the light all along the back in a square shape. The problem was that because of the wall mount and cables, the light was throwing off shadows I didn't want at the bottom. So I ended up just running the light along the top and the sides and it came out great. The colors on the TV look a lot of better, people tell me it looks like a pro install, and you can have some light without turning on a lamp or light up above that's going to give you glare. If you want that movie theater look with no light at all then you can easily unplug the USB and plug it back in; easy to do on the side of my TV. See my before and after pics.

I liked the fact that I had been eyeing this particular product for several months now however pulled the trigger due to it going on sale so every model was about five dollars off. I purchased the medium with the intention of laying down a U shape around the top and sides of my tv. I did not bother with the bottom because I have a wall mounted soundbar directly below and it would have partially shielded the lighting effect. Also wasn't sure of the mA draw from such a long strand of LED coming off the TV's usb port. Manufacturer recommends a 1A (1000 mA) port power as a minimum for their strips though I'm assuming that THEY assume most ( ? ) TV makers have their ports set at 1000 and not 500 like older PC's and laptops. My 4 year old LG tv is a basic 50 inch model and it is able to light up this strip just fine. I plugged it in first to test all the lights then I slowly removed the backing and stuck it down and around the backside of the TV in attempt to maintain similar edge distance. Strip seems to stick well to the plastic so far even though I didn't really clean the surface but did wipe it off to clear away any dust particles. toward the end of the strip I had the cut off a couple inches to match the starting point from the other side, otherwise I would have definitely taken the length down to the bottom. My TV is wall mounted on a tilt down bracket pointed right at head height sitting on our couch so the light reflecting off the wall surface is off slightly. Be mindful the closer to the edge you stick your strip the wider the illumination area on your wall. Most of illumination on my wall is coming from the top due to the tilt while a slightly lesser amount on the sides as only 85% of the length is covered. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who watches most of their TV at night time

This may cost a little more than some other similar products, but I have tried those cheaper version - and this is of significantly higher quality. For starters - the 3M adhesive sticks very well - no issues with it coming off like I had with other products. Two - the lights are bright and can be dimmed as needed, plus the white is a true 6500K match to that of LED TV's. There are plenty of color variations/cycles in between each color to find a nice contrast or match if you want. Third - the remote is RF, not IR, so it can be completely hidden behind the TV and still be used. Lastly, the design of the LED strip allows for easy manipulation around corners and around/on top of bump outs or cable management on the back of the TV. It was super easy to install - in fact, I did not even have to take my TV off the wall. Really liking this product and would definitely buy again.

I did thorough research before deciding on LED back-lighting. I read reviews for various brands that vary in use and price. This is not a set of back-lighting that reads off the HDMI cable to change as the screen changes. There are several color choices, brightness's and options for steady vs. pulse(which you can vary the speed). I ultimately decided to go with this brand because of price and ease of application installation. It really does look nice and I do notice a big difference between having the lights on and not having them on. When I'm around the house I like to play music and put the lights on multi-color and pulse. This could also be great for parties.

I ordered the large size for my 65" wall-mounted flatscreen and am very pleased with the results. I used to always keep a kitchen light on during movies; now I have just enough ambient light with no glare and the picture looks great.

I love this product. I used to primarely use my TV in a pitch-black basement, where I'd keep all lights off in order to minamize my TV Screen's backlight so it could produce the richest of blacks. Not only did I not realize the strain having a lit screen surounded by pure dark was putting on my eyes, but it was rather inconvent living in such darkness. Having to keep a flashlight with-in arms reach from my recliner at all times should have been my clue that I was doing something wrong. But, thanks to Luminoodle, I have seen the light (pun intended). I don't have to fight with my eyes, trying to get them to focus after a 10-hour game session. I thought my black's were rich before, but I'll be damned if they don't look even deeper now. And now when I drop something on the floor, I've stopped instictivly grasping for a my flashlight, I can just look around and see the stuff in my room now. P.S. Don't listen to anyone complaining that this wasn't long enough to frame the back of their tv on all four sides: they are just trying to stick it far too close to the very edge. I have a 46 in screen and placing the strip 4 inches in from the edge, I was able to run it along all four sides, with a few inches to spare. Also ignore anyone complaining about the strip not sticking. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts they didn't clean the back of their TV before applying it. Dust and adhesives don't mix.

I'm obsessed with this product! I'm actually mad I haven't had this all my life. It looks amazing and fancy lighting up my tv area. My husband and I always fight about the lamp begin on while we're watch tv in the dark so this was the perfect compromise. It helps my eyes too bc if it's pitch dark my eyes hurt watching the bright tv.. this eases my viewing experience with the lamp off. But mostly I love how it looks!!!!! Worth every penny. It was so easy to install, sticks great even after unpeeling and moving it a little. I will be buying another for my other tv.

That was easy to install! This light strip works exactly as I hoped it would, it powers on and off with the TV, and provides just the right amount of glow. I didn't want buttons or anything that needed adjusting, so this one was a perfect choice for us. It just works! Glad to add this product to our Luminoodle collection.
