I use this for sanding brass, aluminum and wood detail components used in model making. It is small enough to leave on my work surface and is so handy and easy to use. Highly recommended!
I was reluctant to buy this little and when I got it I decided to give it a try for what I purchased it for. To my surprise this little gadget works perfectly well. I have been using it and I’m glad I got it.

This is a very small sander, just what I was looking for. Looks to be very well made. Haven't used it yet, I ran it for a while and it operates nice and smooth and relatively quiet. This is ideal for small parts, for me woodworking. I'll update my review as I us it more.

This is a tiny belt sander. It is great for small sanding projects but I had to go to the top of the sander to sharpen knives. The sanding platform was a little wide to be able to get the entire blade to the belt. I see a small modified platform being added in the near future to accommodate this problem. Runs quite and smooth.
The size of this is perfect for the benchtop and will be of great value to me in my hobby. The product arrived well ahead of when it scheduled the arrival date. It is easy to change the speed and sanding/polishing belts. The only thing I wish it had or was made available was different size wheels to handle the wider sanding/polishing belts.
The only thing I can say is that I should have ordered a larger size one.
I am surprised how well this little machine works. I sharpened about 25 knives in about ten minutes.
I was looking for a small but powerful belt sander for my jewelry and other metal art needs and bought this to give it a try. There are some sanding attachments out there that work with flex shaft tools like Foredom etc but I wanted a stand-alone gizmo. I was a little skeptical about the torque needed to sand metal when I reviewed this machine online. After some research, I decided to give it a try. What a lovely little equipment! So far I have used it for a couple of weeks and it’s working out well. I primarily use it to remove burr and smooth edges of copper and sterling silver pieces and it’s doing a great job. I place it on a rubber sheet to keep it from moving - also helps with reducing sound. It seems to have a lot of torque for this size motor- adequate for my needs. I will update this review as I use it more! Can’t go wrong with the price and compact size for benchtop jewelry work.
Its a very nice and compact machine it works great only problem was the sand belt is only a half inch I thought it was a 1 inch belt but after I read the description again I realized I thought wrong great machince and it worked out that the half inch one dose a better job then the 1 inch one would fir what Im doing with it!
Very well made, completely assembled, all wrenches for maintenance?, quiet, will use for small irems too small for large belt Sanders! Looks like a toy, but not. I bought this for special hobby applications and I must say it has far exceeded my expectations. Extraordinary quality for the price. The only con is it's so light weight I have to secure it to my work table or mount it to a heavy plate. I highly recommend it for hobby use and delicate sanding
This little mounted motor is well built. Solidly put on a machined aluminum base, it is perfect for sharpening knives and small quick shave downs of multiple materials. Easily worth the money, the belts are cheap and painlessly replaceable. With the right grit belt you can put a razor edge on almost anything in a prompt manner. Highly recommend as for it is an often used item in my tool collection.
Looking at some of the other reviews I believe some buyers did not read the description. This is a machine for sharpening small blades and for modelling work. I have a pocket knife collection and I make wood toys for kids and display. For my purposes it is ideal. I have just put an edge on 12 pocket knife blades and smoothed one worn knife handle, and the belt seems as good as new. I am very pleased. If you want to grind down a kitchen knife this is not for you.
This thing will make some dust in a good way. Very fast good quality tool.
Best power tool I have ever bought. I am working on a wooden boat model and this tool has made it easier.

Ok so yes the machine is small and does come fully assembled. Fits on a desk nicely. I put mine on the corner of the desk and used two clamps to secure it down. Sharpens blade edges nicely. I keep finding new things I can use it for.
The belts are kind of cheap, but the unit itself is a little beast! The motor has enough power to pull the devil out of hell!! Not that I’d want to, but it’s always good to know!!!

This is not a heavy, production-quality machine. However, it is nicely made and serves well for small projects. The bearings are a little noisy and I plan to replace them. With a little tweaking will be even better. Inexpensive enough to justify mods for improvement.
I bought this for filing guitar fret ends flat. I bought a few extra sanding bands too but haven't changed a belt yet. This is a tight little desk top unit with a speed control box located down on the chord. Happy with it so far and it is much easier than a little hand file or my dremel.
