I didn't really like the way it was going to look on my car if installed as intended, so my boyfriend and I cut off the top of the rubber sheath, exposing the LEDs inside. Then we opened up my headlights and installed the LED strip to the inside of the headlight. I took pictures of an exposed strip and one as it comes so that you could see the difference in brightness. Either way, these are pretty bright, but I definitely like the way they look exposed instead. The video (if it loaded successfully) just shows all the patterns that are programmed. My boyfriend was cycling through them, so the video is not an example of one pattern, but rather all of the patterns .
I am very impressed. The tape is not that great but for some reason any of these cheaper strip led lights are just that way their adhesion just sucks. Get your self some 3m tape and problem solved. Make sure you clean the area being applied to. This means with 91% isopropyl alcohol this will clean any wax off area for better adhering this is with either the cheap tape or 3m. They send adhesive promoter use that also.
Perfect for what I needed Make sure u have space before u buy thy are thick an long an they can look ugly if u dont think b4 u buy as I like OEM looking stuff not oh u slapped that in from auto zone looking bootleg also when they are sideways like they are made the are not bright more dim but they are actually nice I really like them an would order again color change is a plus also u have to run the wire across the front of your engine bay to the other light it's not a black box for each light they share boxes u have to tap into turn signal light for them to work so do the wiring b4 your order comes in so that your ready I had to remove my headlights an crazy glue them to the bottom can depend on the tape that comes with it the work well in winter they will fall off but I would buy again. Very happy
Product is amazing works perfectly fine love the settings and the material is great an awesome will be ordering more , just some tips I always do this if you are going to install make sure you clean the surface with alchohol and clean very well other wyse the tape wont stick is the same with any other product I always reinforce with 3m tape to make sure it sticks well. Over all amazing and I'm very satisfied.
The amber LEDs light sequentially. I would have been happy with on/off, but having them run around is a bonus.
The LEDs are facing out of the edge of strip, instead of facing up from the strip. This allows it to be installed in tight gaps, and easy to bend around corners.
I installed these on a 2005 Buick Century that has Day Time Running lights.This means the front blinkers are tied into the DRL module.During the day both sequencer flashers flash at the same time constantly as the hazard lights are on..THE FIX i found.I ran the DRL positive "Red" to my ignition fuse adding a 5 amp fuse and the negative "Black" to my battery's negative pole so the DRL strips are on when my engine is running.The sequencer flashers i tied the "Yellow" wire to each side of the the side courtesy lights that come on when the flasher is turned on because it is constant power....I also installed the on my son's car that doesn't have DRL module tieing the flashers straight into the blinker bulbs harness and I ran the DRL positive strips "Red" to my ignition fuse adding a 5 amp fuse and the negative "Black" to my battery's negative pole so the DRL strips are on when my engine is running.

Liked the construction and profile of these led strips. They work on the test bench, but have not installed them on my Spyder yet. I have no reason to believe that they won't be perfect for my application. Had a question, seller responded immediately.
It's very bright and unique. If ur placing it out side its easy to install but if inside its a pain to pull the head lights and that makes it little more complicated to install. Fast delivery also
Not really all that bright they are in pitch black knight easy to install longevity not sure just yet just installed them about a week ago they are very cool looking just wish you could get them about 3 inches longer
great for night time parking. Get attention for sure. I added gorilla glue with the adhesive just so it will stick better..my weather strip rotted and used this as a replacement. daytime lights are not great. I used some extrat wire to connect to my turn signal lights..no biggie. daytime not so great but night time awesome looking. can leave on 24/7 and will not kill your battery. 4of5 for sure. wish these were as bright as stock headlights newer vehicles have.
I'd agree that the adhesive seems to be on the wrong side. It covers the LEDs and the visible part says cut here all over it. That said I mainly use if for the color fill and the sides, so it works for me. I've had them on for a month and the adhesive is still sticking well. I cut the strips to the right size, connected them to the fuse box, and they work great! Very bright at night (not using them during the day). Nice colors and pattern choices. Would highly recommend for the price!
Great lights for the price. Don't expect them to be bright in direct sunlight. Having said that, after dark they are plenty bright. Easy to install, and the presets are pretty cool. I think I'll mainly stick to the white driving lights. The sequential turn signals is a nice touch.
I already had in mind to put them in the grill sense I have custom Drl headlights. In the day they are visible by direct sight but in the night nooice. The amber color is kind of dull and not as bright but the patterns are awesome. Just wish the kitt looking patterns could have stayed one color. Oh when you turn it on. It does the kitt effect to whatever color you used last. But you won't see it unless you let someone else turn them on. Unless you set it up to turn on and off with the remote. I have mines on the ignition.
Love this and the price was unbelievable
I put these on my 1998 Ford Explorer. These LEDS have AWESOME patterns! It looks absolutely great. The patterns on these make them so much better than others online. My SUV headlights look incredible now. The lights are pretty bright. It was pretty straightforward to wire things up, but if you haven't worked on car wiring just watch some videos online. Tap into the parking light wire and turn signal wire. Then connect the ground wire to a bolt in the engine bay. It's not too hard.
After over a month, these strips are working amazingly. I do wish they were brighter; in fact I wish they were twice as bright with adjustable brightness.
They stick great! It was a little hard to bend them into shape to follow along the headlight casing without the adhesive getting a little loose, but after some resticking and hot temperatures they have been sticking great!
Really cool lights. Installed them on my 2018 Freightliner Cascadia. Definitely worth the money!

For the price, and for the functions these are great. But if you don't have boxed headlights, you will have to find a better spot for them on the car, or truck. And at least for me the lights are very bright.
Bright at night, dim during the day you get what you pay for. But the adhesive is amazing and strong. (Just have to clean the surface properly.) 10/10 would buy again if I had to.
