Clips right on the visor, works great for my short (under 5 foot) mother when we’re driving into the sun, love it!
I did a little research and ordered this glare shade for my 4Runner. Depending on the time of day driving home, the sun is sitting on my steering wheel. I'm short so the regular visor is no help. I noticed several reviews on others said they were fuzzy and difficult to see through. This one is fine.
This would be great on any visor and is my favorite of all I have ordered and tried,. Yes, it is not optically 'perfect' but I can see through it easily and it helps a lot. It is barely noticeable. I bought a total of 6 for both visors in two cars and one truck and I will likely get 2 for my RV motorhome. I hope this helps; it is best on fabric visors, but is great overall and the price is right. Update: I still highly recommend these, but I ordered 2 more from the warehouse for my RV that were listed as in 'very good' condition for a little less and one was good, one was bad, so I recommend ordering these new.
This really made a difference. Twice a year I drive directly into the sun and I can't see. Makes me very nervous. This has cut the glare so I can see the road and the vehicles around me.
Excellent quality! A must if you drive west in the late afternoon or early summer evenings. This is much better than a different one that I tried which kept falling off the visor. This one sticks to its guns, makes your drive safer!! My husband needs to order one for his side as well.
Excellent suplement to sun glasses. Just completed 3,000mil East to West and back, road trip. With the sun setting and rising this visor perfectly fills the space between the dash pad and the standard issue sun visor. Very minimal optical distortion that does not effect the vision, especially when you consider the fact that without this visor vision would be nil.
